Lyle Fire Department covers 26 square miles with a population of approximately 1,200. This area is north of the Columbia River and extends west to east from Bingen, WA to Doug's Beach, a famous wind surfing launch. The department responds to about 100 fire and medical calls per year and is responsible for the fire protection, emergency medical service, and assisting citizens within the community.
